Exceptional antique table mirror in Rococo Revival style, attributed to the late 19th century.
This richly detailed piece features an ornate scrolling frame with classic rocaille motifs, standing on elegant shaped feet and crowned by a finely sculpted figural group depicting a lady and a putto. Unlike many comparable examples, the upper composition is fully preserved, adding significant decorative and collectible value.
The mirror retains its original beveled glass plate, showing beautiful age-related silver wear and a warm antique tone that enhances its character.
A particularly rare and desirable feature is the articulated triple candle holder element on the side, which remains fully present and movable. This functional detail is often missing in similar pieces and greatly enhances both the visual impact and usability.
The frame appears to be made of silvered metal, with natural patina, wear and surface variation consistent with age.
