c.1950–1970 Spanish Mid-Century Neoclassical Brass Wall Sconce with Original Glass Globe

€290

Stylish mid-20th-century Spanish wall sconce by Lamparas Barcas (Barcelona), crafted in gilt brass with neoclassical revival details. The piece features an elegant architectural stem, a decorative pierced gallery, and a beautiful original blown-glass globe with a white spiral pattern. A refined and decorative lighting piece typical of Spanish mid-century interiors.

The sconce retains its original mid-century wiring, and the socket is a later vintage replacement.

For safety, rewiring and socket replacement by a certified electrician are required before use, as the existing electrical components do not meet modern standards.

Chosen for today, grounded in history.

A well-placed antique does more than decorate a room - it gives it authorship. Against a contemporary interior, older objects introduce texture, balance and a sense of permanence that cannot be replicated by newly made pieces alone.
This is the principle behind the LÜRON selection. We look for works that carry historical character with ease, and that feel as convincing in a Paris apartment as they do in a more modern architectural setting.
