c.1900–1920 Brilliant Cut Crystal Decanter with Silver-Mounted Collar, Star Mark, 15.3in

€390

Beautiful early-20th-century Brilliant Cut Crystal decanter featuring a finely crafted silver-mounted collar marked with a star hallmark. The piece dates to around 1900–1920 and represents the luxurious tableware tradition of Western Europe, most likely England or France.

The heavy lead-crystal body displays deep geometric cutting: radiant starbursts, sweeping vertical flutes and multi-faceted patterns that catch light with exceptional clarity. The original stopper mirrors the same artisanal cutting, forming a perfectly matched and fully authentic set.

The silver collar is decorated with an elegant floral band, detailed by hand, and carries a distinctive star hallmark – a rare maker’s mark associated with small silversmith workshops active in the early 20th century.

A striking collector’s piece suitable for fine barware, curated interiors or high-end gifting.

Chosen for today, grounded in history.

A well-placed antique does more than decorate a room - it gives it authorship. Against a contemporary interior, older objects introduce texture, balance and a sense of permanence that cannot be replicated by newly made pieces alone.
This is the principle behind the LÜRON selection. We look for works that carry historical character with ease, and that feel as convincing in a Paris apartment as they do in a more modern architectural setting.
