Attributed Baccarat “Condé” Crystal Glass Set, France, 11 Pieces (Wine & Coupe Glasses)

€790

Elegant and highly decorative set of hand-cut crystal glasses, attributed to Baccarat, in a pattern commonly known on the market as “Condé”.

The set includes six tall wine glasses and five coupe glasses for champagne or cocktails, all featuring a richly detailed cut design with starbursts, elongated panels, and intricate geometric motifs. The precision and depth of the cutting create beautiful light reflections typical of fine European crystal.

A particularly distinctive feature is the multi-lobed “flower” foot combined with a faceted stem. Each stem shows subtle variations, indicating hand-finishing rather than fully industrial production, adding individuality and authenticity to the set.

The overall design reflects classic French elegance of the early to mid-20th century and closely resembles documented Baccarat models of the same type, though no maker’s mark is visible and attribution remains stylistic.

Chosen for today, grounded in history.

A well-placed antique does more than decorate a room - it gives it authorship. Against a contemporary interior, older objects introduce texture, balance and a sense of permanence that cannot be replicated by newly made pieces alone.
This is the principle behind the LÜRON selection. We look for works that carry historical character with ease, and that feel as convincing in a Paris apartment as they do in a more modern architectural setting.
