Beautiful 19th century Chinese export porcelain plate, finely hand-painted in famille rose enamels with lush peony bouquets, butterflies, and scrolling rococo-inspired borders. The composition is divided into four cartouches around a central medallion, each vibrantly decorated with multi-layered overglaze enamels in pink, green, yellow and cobalt tones.
