Lithograph signed and numbered in pencil by the author. Publisher Roca Ex-Artis. Limited edition of 200 units, copy 35/200.

In 1957 he went to Italy on the occasion of his exhibition at the L'asterisk gallery in Rome. This trip influenced him a lot, so his painting became more colourful, more sensual and more Mediterranean. In 1959 he had a solo exhibition at the Sala Gaspar, which would be the gallery that would represent him from then on.

Ibarz exhibited his work in important galleries in Madrid, Frankfurt, Washington and Toronto. Among his awards and recognitions, the San Jorge Prize in 1966 and the First Prize for Engraving City of Barcelona in 1969 stand out. Miguel Ibarz died prematurely in 1987, at the age of 67, when he was still in his artistic prime.

Chosen for today, grounded in history.

A well-placed antique does more than decorate a room - it gives it authorship. Against a contemporary interior, older objects introduce texture, balance and a sense of permanence that cannot be replicated by newly made pieces alone.
This is the principle behind the LÜRON selection. We look for works that carry historical character with ease, and that feel as convincing in a Paris apartment as they do in a more modern architectural setting.
