1924-1934, Meissen Porcelain Cobalt Blue & Floral Lidded Box

€359

It is hand painted with a nice floral arrangement on white ground on the top of the lid with a fancy gold trim around the white on that amazing deep cobalt blue ground that is covering the rest of the piece. Simple gold line trim to the edge of the lid and main body. One does not come across these larger versions often at all and it's really stunning looking plus quite nice for storing little items like jewelry.

Chosen for today, grounded in history.

A well-placed antique does more than decorate a room - it gives it authorship. Against a contemporary interior, older objects introduce texture, balance and a sense of permanence that cannot be replicated by newly made pieces alone.
This is the principle behind the LÜRON selection. We look for works that carry historical character with ease, and that feel as convincing in a Paris apartment as they do in a more modern architectural setting.
