€590

Large Spanish handmade and painted white and blue glazed terracotta "Lebrillo" earthenware bowl in the style typical of Granada

Fajalauza pottery is highly sought after and collectible. In this case we have the most iconic motif of all, the pomegranate which in Spanish means Granada and it is the symbol of the town itself.

Granadine traditional pottery is well known as Fajalauza ceramics. The potters settled in the city gradually from the late sixteenth century until the present day, in the North of Albaicin area next to the Fajalauza Gate. The style of pottery takes its name from Morales, the largest factory in Granada. In time, all pottery production in Granada came to be known as Fajalauza pottery. The decoration used on Granadine pottery comes from the workshops and Moorish traditions.

We have the largest collection of plates in Spain.

Chosen for today, grounded in history.

A well-placed antique does more than decorate a room - it gives it authorship. Against a contemporary interior, older objects introduce texture, balance and a sense of permanence that cannot be replicated by newly made pieces alone.
This is the principle behind the LÜRON selection. We look for works that carry historical character with ease, and that feel as convincing in a Paris apartment as they do in a more modern architectural setting.
