Pair of Fajalauza, Blue and White Glazed Bowls With Traditional Flower

€460

Beautiful pair of antique Fajalauza bowls from Granada, crafted in the 19th century in the traditional Andalusian style.

Both pieces feature hand-painted deep cobalt decoration over a white tin-glazed surface – classic floral motifs and flowing brushwork, typical of historic Granada workshops.

These bowls were shaped and glazed entirely by hand, showing natural firing marks, glaze pinholes, mineral inclusions and the authentic character of early Fajalauza production.

Chosen for today, grounded in history.

A well-placed antique does more than decorate a room - it gives it authorship. Against a contemporary interior, older objects introduce texture, balance and a sense of permanence that cannot be replicated by newly made pieces alone.
This is the principle behind the LÜRON selection. We look for works that carry historical character with ease, and that feel as convincing in a Paris apartment as they do in a more modern architectural setting.
