18th Century, Delft Two-Handled Bowl – Floral Blue & White Tin-Glaze

€450

An authentic example of early Dutch Delftware, this two-handled faience bowl features hand-painted cobalt decoration over a pale tin glaze. The stylized florals and freehand blue ornament evoke 17th-century floral iconography, while the form — with generously curved walls and integrated looped handles — was commonly used for posset or broth vessels.

- Scalloped blue rim

- Hand-applied handles with blue brushstrokes

Chosen for today, grounded in history.

A well-placed antique does more than decorate a room - it gives it authorship. Against a contemporary interior, older objects introduce texture, balance and a sense of permanence that cannot be replicated by newly made pieces alone.
This is the principle behind the LÜRON selection. We look for works that carry historical character with ease, and that feel as convincing in a Paris apartment as they do in a more modern architectural setting.
