18th Century Chinese Export Blue & White Plate, Qing Dynasty, 9 in

€260

Authentic 18th century Chinese export porcelain plate from the Qing dynasty, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue.

The central scene depicts a traditional Chinese garden landscape with pavilion, trees and stylized rocks, framed by a floral border around the rim. The composition and brushwork are typical of export porcelain produced for the European market during the mid-18th century.

The plate features a softly potted body, translucent glaze, and classic cobalt decoration with natural firing variations, all consistent with genuine Qing-period manufacture.

A fine decorative and collectible example of Chinese export porcelain from the height of European–Asian trade.

Chosen for today, grounded in history.

A well-placed antique does more than decorate a room - it gives it authorship. Against a contemporary interior, older objects introduce texture, balance and a sense of permanence that cannot be replicated by newly made pieces alone.
This is the principle behind the LÜRON selection. We look for works that carry historical character with ease, and that feel as convincing in a Paris apartment as they do in a more modern architectural setting.
