Elegant French porcelain urn vase from the late 19th century, executed in the refined Sèvres style (dans le goût de Sèvres) and finished to an extra-luxury standard.
The vase features a deep cobalt blue ground enriched with extensive hand-applied gilding and finely crafted gilt bronze (ormolu) elements, including beaded rims, pedestal base, and decorative handles.
The hand-painted reserves are signed Delinière, depicting:
a romantic galant scene with a seated lady and cherub on the front
a serene landscape on the reverse
The painting demonstrates delicate brushwork, soft transitions, and a refined pastel palette, all hallmarks of high-end French porcelain decoration during the Belle Époque period.
